Privacy Notice

This notice explains what data this site handles, why it is handled, and what choices you have. The site is built as a no-account planning utility.

1. Data This Site Handles

By design, this site limits personal data collection. Data handled in normal use includes:

  • Tool scenario values you place in query parameters, such as branch, paygrade, ZIP, and assumptions.
  • Event payload fields for product analytics, such as tool ID, category, branch, source page, and event type.
  • Standard technical request data collected by hosting and edge providers, such as IP and user agent logs.

2. Data We Do Not Intend To Collect

  • No account registration data in the current version.
  • No on-site lead forms for name, email, phone, or mailing address.
  • No payment card processing on-site.
  • No intentional collection of classified, CUI, ITAR, or medical records.

3. Why Data Is Handled

Data is handled for these operational reasons:

  • Render requested tool scenarios and results.
  • Measure aggregate tool usage and result rendering behavior.
  • Protect site reliability, security, and abuse controls.

4. Analytics and Worker Routing

The site sends event calls to /e/* endpoints. Those endpoints can be routed through an optional Cloudflare Worker that forwards event data to a configured analytics destination. If analytics is unavailable, site rendering and navigation continue.

5. Cookies and Similar Storage

Site application code does not intentionally set first-party tracking cookies for behavioral profiling. Hosting, security, and analytics infrastructure may still set strict operational cookies or similar identifiers. See the Cookie Notice for details.

6. Sharing and Disclosure

Data may be disclosed to:

  • Infrastructure providers that host, secure, and route this site.
  • Analytics providers used for aggregate event reporting.
  • Authorities when required by law, court order, or valid legal process.

This site is not designed to sell personal data.

7. Retention

Retention periods depend on hosting and analytics configurations. Data is retained only as long as needed for operations, security, legal compliance, and reporting, then deleted or de-identified when practical.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or limits on certain data processing. You may also have rights to appeal a denied request and to use an authorized agent.

You can also control many browser-level settings directly, including cookie preferences, history retention, and script blocking.

9. Children

This site is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal data through this site, contact the operator to request deletion.

10. Security

Reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards are used, but no internet transmission or storage system is fully secure. Avoid entering sensitive data into tool fields.

11. Policy Changes

This notice may be updated as the product and legal requirements evolve. The current version is always posted on this page with its effective date.
