These Terms of Use govern access to and use of Servicemember Index and related pages. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
1. Service Scope
The site provides scenario-based planning tools for military compensation, location, PCS, career, transition, and fitness contexts. Outputs are estimates based on assumptions and maintained source files. The site is not an official U.S. Government service.
2. No Professional Advice
Site content is for general information and planning support. It is not legal, tax, financial, accounting, medical, or career advice. You are responsible for validating decisions with official publications and qualified professionals.
3. Eligibility and Acceptable Use
You may use the site only in a lawful way. You may not:
- Submit classified, CUI, ITAR, health, or other restricted information.
- Use the site to violate law, regulation, or third-party rights.
- Attempt to bypass security, rate limits, or technical controls.
- Send malware, abuse scripts, or harmful automation against the site.
- Misstate site outputs as official determinations by government agencies.
4. Data Entry Responsibility
You control what you place in tool input fields and URL query parameters. Do not enter sensitive personal data. You are responsible for any information you choose to submit through your browser.

Total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100) or the amount you paid to use the site in the prior twelve months. Current site access is offered without required payment.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the site operator and contributors from claims, damages, losses, and expenses that arise from your misuse of the site, your legal violations, or your breach of these terms.
